“T Nice”

At the age of 24, Toka is a four-year pro. A talented young prospect at 126 pounds, he is a former amateur standout.

He has stayed active in the ring, given several impressive performances, and made good progress as a pro – he stepped up to 10-round status for the first time in May.

Things don’t always go smoothly, though, as a young fighter develops and gains experience. There can be setbacks to overcome.

One young fighter lost two fights in a row early in his professional career – he was knocked out in his fourth fight and lost a decision in his next fight two months later – but went on to have a career that included winning world titles in three weight divisions and induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. That young fighter was the legendary Alexis Arguello.

Toka was stopped in the first round of his last fight on September 23 in Kissimmee, Florida, but has the talent and determination to continue to progress and fulfill his potential.
