Felix Verdejo and Christopher Diaz held their final press conference in Puerto Rico as they headline this Friday’s Unimas Solo Boxeo series.  See press conference photo gallery here.

Verdejo: “I’m 100% physically and mentally. My future depends on my performance against Oliver Flores and that’s why this Friday I’m going to show that I’m more than ready to become a world champion. I wished Flanagan the best of luck in his title defense. I will be waiting for him.”

Pitufo: “This will be a fight that the fans will enjoy. I come well prepared to give the fans a good fight. My opponent is tough. This will be a toe to toe battle from the the first to the eight round, or while it last.”

“I love to fight against Mexican fighters because they never give up, but I’m not going to let anyone take away everything that I have worked so hard to get. I have a big commitment with my daughter, my family and with Puerto Rico. I will become a world champion.”
