MÉXICO CITY (July 17, 2012) – Undefeated World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight champion and Son of the Legend, JULIO CÉSAR CHÁVEZ JR. (46-0-1, 32 KOS), of Culiacán, México, and the two-division world champion with matinee idol looks, SERGIO MARTINEZ (49-2-2, 28 KOs), of Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina, will conclude the four-city / two-nation international media tour promoting their eagerly-awaited Méxican Independence Day middleweight championship battle, with a México City News Conference, Today! Tuesday, July 17, at the TV Azteca Studios (Azteca Novelas, Foro 7, Canal de Miramontes 2437, Col Avante), beginning at Noon.

Chávez Jr. vs. Martinez will take place Saturday, September 15, at the Thomas & Mack Center, on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View®, beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
