Bradley-Provodnikov Card to Hold Media Workouts

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. (March 13, 2013) -- Undefeated Méxican and Méxican American contenders on Saturday's Timothy Bradley, Jr. - Ruslan Provodnikov World Welterweight Championship undercard -- ÓSCAR VALDEZ, JESSIE VARGAS, ANDY RUIZ, JR. and JESSIE MAGADLENO -- will host a Los Angeles area Media Workout Tomorrow! Thursday, March 14, beginning at Noon PT, at the Azteca Boxing Gym (3817 Gage Ave., Bell, Calif. 90201.)

Interviews with the fighters and their trainers will take place before their respective workouts.

Vargas (21-0, 9 KOs), from Las Vegas Nev., world-rated No. 5 by the World Boxing Association (WBA) and No. 9 by the World Boxing Council (WBC), will open the HBO World Championship® telecast in a WBC Continental Americas welterweight title rumble against undefeated Wale "Lucky Boy" Omotoso (23-0, 19 KOs). Valdez (3-0, 2 KOs), of Nogales, México, a two-time Méxican Olympian, will be taking on Jose Morales (6-4, 1 KO), of Denver, in a six-round super bantamweight bout. Ruiz (17-0, 11 KOs), of Mexicali, México, will be going up against Matthew Greer (15-9, 13 KOs), of Parkville, MO, in an eight-round heavyweight bout. Magdaleno (13-0, 9 KOs), of Las Vegas, Nev., will be battling Carlos Fulgencio (18-9-1, 12 KOs), in an eight-round super bantamweight bout.
