Marquez Looks Sharp in Media Day Workout

Three-time world champion and Mexican icon Juan Manuel Marquez looked very sharp today during a media workout at the historic Romanza Gym in Mexico City.

"I am anxious to get in the ring and fight in front of my hometown fans. I want to give them a great show this Saturday night," said Marquez.

"I expect a tough fight from Sergey Fedchenko, and have trained very hard for this fight. There will be no let down for this fight. I need to win, and I need to show everyone that I am still on top of my game."

Marquez will take on Fedchenko in the main event of a pay-per-view championship card, which be headlined by Brando Rios. He takes on Richard Abril for the WBA lightweight championship belt.
