For nearly half a century, Top Rank has nurtured some of the sport’s all-time greats and produced some of its most exciting bouts. It’s a practice we continue to this day, as Top Rank further expands its brand while introducing the sport of boxing to a new generation of fans.
Since promoting his first fight for Muhammad Ali in 1966, Top Rank founder and CEO Bob Arum has done much to help boxing evolve. By the time Arum, an eventual member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, moved Top Rank’s headquarters to Las Vegas in 1986, for example, he’d already helped position the city as “The Fight Capital of the World.” By producing countless legendary bouts in Vegas, Top Rank has had an economic impact on the state of Nevada that numbers in the hundreds of millions.
But Top Rank is hardly a locals-only company. We promote fights around the world, from Mexico to Madison Square Garden, across multiple platforms, and continue to usher into the ring a new crop of champion fighters in a range of divisions. Currently, Top Rank’s stable of rising stars include the undefeated featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez, superstar-in-the-making Nonito Donaire, Jr., and son of a living boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr.
Top Rank also promotes the sport’s most elite fighters, including the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, Manny Pacquiao, and three-time world champion Miguel Cotto.
Since our inception, we've promoted more than 9,000 fights on more than 1,500 cards in 22 countries spread over six continents.
Since 1986, we've promoted 432 bouts in Nevada, including 183 world championship match-ups.
On average, we produce 36 major events annually featuring the sport's elite in championship bouts, plus 24 smaller events focusing on upper-level fighters and up-and-coming prospects.

In the 1970s and ’80s, Top Rank founder and CEO Bob Arum was one of the first promoters to harness the power of closed-circuit and pay-per-view models of selling televised fights. He later parlayed this knowledge into ground-breaking deals with HBO, Showtime, ABC and a host of other networks.
