Marquez Shines During Mexico Sparring Sessions
Mexico City – With a very impressive demonstration of conditioning and brute strength, the three-time world champion Juan Manuel Marquez shined during a media workout yesterday in the historic Romanza Gym in Mexico City.
Marquez will seek to become a four-time world champion, when he takes on Manny Pacquiao on November 12 at Las Vegas’s MGM Grand in an HBO pay-per-view card.
“I have added some new training methods to my preparation, and I believe that it will help me very much when I take on Pacquiao on November 12,” said Marquez.
“I feel strong and my speed is coming around. I am very happy with what we have accomplished here, and I am ready to take on Pacquiao,” said Marquez.
“I know that is a very difficult fight, but I believe I have the intelligence and experience to get the victory this time around,” said Marquez.
Marquez sparred 10 rounds in front of the media with three different sparing partners-Alex Dilmanghani, Ramesés Agaton and Mario Zaragoza-showing some big-time power against his bigger foes.
