Detail: After briefly relocating to L.A. to train with Hall of Fam-er Freddie Roach, the undefeated sensation Marroquin moved back to his native Dallas. He said that while he greatly admired Roach, he needed more personal attention–something the ever-busy Roach couldn’t provide. Anyway, if the transition bothered Marroquin, he didn’t show it in his return to Cowboys Stadium. (Marroquin fought on the Pacquiao-Johsua Clottey undercard on March 13.) It was an utterly lopsided fight. Marroquin didn’t even take the time to feel Dominguez out. Instead, Marroquin came right at Dominguez, dropping him once with a hard left before finishing him at the 1:27 mark in the opening round. Keep your eye on this kid.
