Unified junior lightweight world champion Stevenson will formally announce his upcoming title defense

Who: WBO/WBC junior lightweight world champion Shakur Stevenson and several of the undercard fighters. More information to come on the undercard participants later this week.

What: Stevenson, a native of Newark, N.J., returns home to formally announce his upcoming ESPN-televised title defense at Prudential Center against Brazilian contender Robson Conceição.

Many special guests are scheduled to appear, including Seton Hall Men’s Basketball Head Coach Shaheen Holloway, New Jersey Devils defenseman Dougie Hamilton, and Ras J. Baraka, the 40th Mayor of the City of Newark.

Where: Prudential Center (Newark, N.J.).
