Ramírez (37-0, 25 KOs), from Mazatlan, Mexico, successfully defended his World Boxing Organization (WBO) super middleweight title for the third time against Top-Five world-rated contender Habib “Wild Hurricane” Ahmed (22-1, 17 KOs) from Accra, Ghana. Ahmed’s corner threw in the towel in the 6th round.
